Morning After The Blizzard

 When we got up this morning, there was 3 feet of snow covering everything!!!

Let me tell you, that is a LOT of snow to shovel!! I felt very overwhelmed when Jerry and I first stepped out to get started with cleaning some of this snow from our back deck, driveway and front walk. Helped Jerry for about an hour our first trip out. He stayed out for almost 3 hours that time around. Went in to get warmed up and have lunch with Mom (grilled ham, tomato and cheese sandwiches ~ YUM!) Then headed back out for round 2. We shoveled for over 2 hours in order to get to the end of the driveway! Thankfully our wonderful neighbor, Alice came over with her snow blower and worked on digging us out from the road, while Jerry and I worked on digging out from the other side. Boy were we ever so happy to meet up with Alice when we got the driveway open!! We are all going to be so sore tomorrow!!!

So glad I filled those bird feeders!! Hope they make those seeds last. Don't know when I will be able to fill those again :(
