Bonding with a Deer

I have been making friends with this poor little deer all day. He came by this morning when I was hanging some laundry outside. And he went over and was eating the birdseed that was on the ground that the birds pushed out of the birdfeeder. Something spooked him and he took off into the woods so I figured, that was that.

Poor thing has bird seeds stuck all over his face

Well tonight when I was outside on the back deck, watering my plants. I looked over and saw the same deer in the woods looking at me. I grabbed some bread and started throwing it in the yard for him while I kept calling him. Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would actually come!! *LoL* He has an injured front right hoof, that he kept lifting up in the air. Boy I wish he would have let me friend him so I could help him. I just love animals and I really enjoyed my visit with this deer =]
