Jerry and I went to Anna Liffey's, in downtown New Haven for dinner tonight. What a neat little Irish Pub that turned out to be. When you walk in, the restaurant is downstairs (under) the street. There are no windows and you would swear you had just arrived in a 'true' Irish Pub in Ireland once you reach the bottom of the stairs. They have people who know how to play an instrument and have an ear for Irish music, sit around a large table and play Irish music together that the customers get to enjoy as well. Really neat!! And the food is authentic Irish Food along with non traditional too. Delicious Irish Stew, Shepards Pie and The Club Pub Sandwich was yumm~mo! *LoL* I sound like an advertisement for this restaurant :-D You can check out this restaurant for yourself on line by clicking here
