Father's Day Lunch, with Mom

Since my Dad passed away, Father's Day is a very sad and depressing day for me. Now instead of taking him out to dinner, I get to bring him flowers at the cemetery. I hate bringing him flowers, but I will go every year because that is the only thing I can give him anymore. I still miss him something awful. 6 years did nothing to help heal the pain. Just makes you accept what you can not change.
I know my Mom has a hard day on Father's Day too. Not only missing my Dad, but her father as well. My grandpa was a really neat guy and he is missed by us all to this day.
Stacy and Kaela were taking Jerry out for a Father's Day lunch. So I decided my Mom and I would go out and have a special Father's Day lunch of our own.
What a nice time we had at The Lake House. The weather was nice enough that Mom was able to sit outside and enjoy, not only the food, but all the activity going on out on the water. Thanks for such a nice lunch Mom :)

Have to mention that this lunch was also to make up for the McDonald lunch I took Mom to after her doctor's appointment on the 11th. I was having problems with my stomach and the only thing that settles it is a McDonald's Hamburger. Weird I know, but it works for whatever reason. And although this wasn't a 'glamorous' meal, it was still fun ;)
