So a couple of weeks ago, I started thinking about crocheting again. It has been a while since I have made a new blanket/afghan. My only problem was that I was tired of just doing the same old boring, back and forth pattern. I really wanted to learn how to do the ripple stitch. I had been trying to get that pattern to come out right for a year now, with no results :( Well that was until I stubbled upon this amazing tutorial that finally clicked in my head!! I will be forever grateful to Lucy of Attic24 for taking the time out to write and photograph her tutorial on how to do the Neat Ripple Pattern. If you would like to try it for yourself, just click here for her website and tutorial :)
Now I am a ripple crocheting machine!! *LoL* This is the blanket I am working on. And I have tons of other ideas mulling around in my head. I was going to keep this for myself. But I just might put these creations away until I have enough to offer at my own store on etsy!! My daughter Stacy, has her own store on Etsy where she sells the most adorable dolls!! I think I am her biggest fan *LoL* I am pretty sure she hates showing me any new creations she comes up with cause she knows I am going to have to have one!! You can visit Stacy's store and see all the wonderful things she creates by clicking here
Here is the progress on my blanket so far :)
