What a nice day it was today. I hated to sit in the house so I 'harrassed' Jerry into going to Olde Mistick Village in Mystic, Connecticut. We left about 11:00 and stayed until almost 6:00. What a nice time we had. I love going there and walking through the old buildings they converted into stores. I know Jerry doesn't enjoy the 'shopping' as much as I do. But I do appreciate him taking me and I think he had just as nice of a time as I did in the end. We didn't get much, but we did manage to bring a couple things home. And we had a really nice lunch/dinner at a place called Mango's Firewood Pizza. We sat outside and ate after we visited the coffee shop for some fresh coffee to go with our pizza (and a half a pound of french vanilla beans to go!) Thank you again Jerry for a really nice day! :-)

Some of the shops we visited
There were duck ponds throughout the village. And they had the biggest and prettiest ducks I had ever seen
Jerry bought me another piece to my 'Wee Forest Folk" collection. I only have 5 pieces but I love them all! The little mouse on the piece of cheese is the one we got today :-)
