Painting Stacy's Room

Oh my gosh, where do I start? Stacy had wanted to paint her room since last Thanksgiving but we just hadn't had the time to help her with it. Last week, we finally decided that we were going to take the time and help her get it done. She moved all her stuff (with Justin's help) to Kaela's old room and her room turned into a huge project. The old paint had to scrapped off her wall and then Jerry had to tape and sand the wall before he was able to apply the primer and then Stacy could paint.

I had to go get my haircut on Tuesday when Stacy decided the walls were ready to be painted. I didn't realize she had never painted a wall before! So when she told me,  I told her to wait until I got back and I would help her. Did she listen? Noooooo, and this is what a wall looks like when you rub a roller up and down the wall by hand.

After some 'loud' discussions about painting (and how Stacy is never allowed to pick up a paint brush to paint walls ever again) here are her finished walls. I think the color is so pretty. I know Stacy wanted a 'much' brighter color, but I hope she is happy with the end results.
