The Schneider Family Benefit

This was such an amazing event put together for our neighbors. Our neighbor Larry had come down with cancer over the summer of 2009. Halfway through his treatment, just before Thanksgiving, his 19 year old daughter Virginia, developed blood clots in her left foot. Sadly, after many trips back and forth to numerous doctors, Virginia lost her foot. It was amazing how family, friends and the whole community pulled together for this family. Larry and Virginia both had worked at 'Sikorsky Aircraft' in Stratford, Connecticut. On Friday, January 15th 2010, a banquet was held in their honor to help raise money for the many bills the family has been having to deal with. Our daughter Kaela and our niece Alicia were among the many involved in making this night possible. Here is the group photo. Larry, his wife Alice their daughters Virginia, Heidi and Rebecca are in the front row. Our niece Alicia is in the front row too, right hand side. And Kaela is in the row behind, next to Alicia
